We have a number of questions answered that you might have about our winery.


Can we bring our children to the winery?

Children are permitted in the building during your tasting experience at Konzelmann Estate Winery.  We ask that they stay with the participants at all times.  Older children who would like to take part in the experiences on the Covered Patio, Tour & Tasting (12 yrs+) or Vineyard Dome may choose the Designated Driver option.  This would include all the food offered in these 2 experiences plus a non-alcoholic sparkling grape juice beverage.

Do you allow dogs on the property?

Service dogs are welcome inside the winery.  The only experiences where non-service dogs are permitted is on our covered patio and on our Seasonal Patio which opens on weekends (weather permitting) during the summer.

Are reservations required for your experiences?

Reservations are recommended at Konzelmann Winery and all experiences must be prepaid.  This guarantees you the best experience during your visit here.  Reservations can easily be made on our website at https://konzelmann.rezdy.com/.

Do you accept Walk-Ins?

We welcome walk-ins at Konzelmann.  There are 2 options based on availability:

  1. Seated Tasting in our Tasting Hall which includes 4 samples of premium VQA wines of your choice, this is 45 minutes in duration.  
  2. At our tasting bar you can choose 3 samples of your choice. This is usually a 15-20 minute tasting.  There are often wait times for walk-ins on weekends.

Our team of experienced Wine Consultants will guide you through your tasting and answer any questions you may have.

If you have a group of 5 or more people and walk-in, you will be served our Seasonal Feature menu.  You all will taste the same 3 wines.

What are your hours of operation?

Winter/Spring Hours

Monday to Friday : 11:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday and Sunday : 10:00am – 6:00pm

Summer/Fall Hours

Daily : 10:00am – 6:00pm

Can we walk around the vineyard, or to the lake?

The vineyard and lake are private property, so we ask that customers do not walk through the vineyard or down to the lake.  Customers are welcome to view the lake/vineyards from our observation deck. 

Do your outdoor experiences run rain or shine?

Our Vineyard Dome is a covered building, so it runs all year round.  We also have a covered patio where our seasonal experiences take place (Summer Sips, Fireside Flights etc.).  These experiences also run rain or shine.  The patio, when available, will be closed in inclement weather.

Is there parking on site?

There is ample free parking at Konzelmann Estate Winery.  We do not allow overnight parking.

Do you have a shuttle service?

Konzelmann Estate Winery does not provide a shuttle service.  It is the responsibility of the customer to provide their own transportation to and from the winery.  

Do you have Peachwine?

Konzelmann Estate Winery is known for its Peachwine.  You can find it in our store or purchase it online from our website. Peachwine is always in season here!

What wines do you have available in the LCBO?

You can find the following Konzelmann Estate Wines at the LCBO.  Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay Unoaked, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Canada Red, Shiraz and Pinot Noir.

Is there a discount on wine if we book a tasting?

We do not offer a discount. Please check our promotions online or in store.

Can we stop in the winery and have a glass of wine?

During the summer our Patio is open on weekends (weather permitting) where guests can enjoy a more defined space, new menus, exciting wine cocktails, wine by the glass and seasonal culinary options.

What does a Designated Driver receive to drink?

If you choose a Designated Driver paid option, a non-alcoholic beverage will be served to them. 

Where do you ship?

Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Nova Scotia and Ontario – We do not ship to the United States or overseas. 

How much is shipping?

Online orders over $150 are free shipping within Ontario. Additional charges may apply in areas outside of Ontario in Canada. 

Is your winery accessible?

All areas of the winery are accessible except for the Lakefront Lounge, the Barrel Cellar, the Observation Deck and the Tower.  We do not have an elevator on site.  

Do you have a restaurant on site?

We do not have a restaurant on site.  We offer charcuterie and pairing options which we recommend making arrangements for when you book your tasting at an additional cost.
